Terms of Service

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

A single person may hold roles at more than one institution under one account. Access to each institution's data is scoped by permission.

Portfolios and the evidence within them belong to the learner who created them.

Independent portfolios not linked to an enrollment remain owner-only. Portfolios linked to an enrollment may be transferred only between the learner's own enrollments.

Assessors, validators and moderators agree to score honestly and against the published rubric.

Every scoring, validation, moderation and approval action is recorded in an audit trail that institutions and regulators may inspect.

Paid plans are billed through M-Pesa or Paystack. Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings.

Institutional pricing is per active learner and may change with notice.

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access data you are not entitled to, or upload unlawful content.

You must not interfere with assessment integrity — tampering with records or impersonating another person may invalidate your results.

Assessor and administrator roles are granted by an institution or by Stadinet. They are never self-selected during signup, because they carry permissions over other people's work.

You must not attempt to obtain permissions you have not been assigned.

Where your qualification is certified by a governing body such as TVET CDACC or KNEC, your results and any sampled evidence may be shared with that body for verification and certification.

Your institution and governing body determine which competencies you are assessed against and who may review your portfolio.

We work to keep Stadinet available and your data safe, but the service is provided without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
